- Location access is used only when you trigger an alarm or event in the app.
- The app includes your current location with the alarm message so that authorized users can see where the event occurred.
- This information is sent securely to our servers and displayed in the user web portal for your organization.
Storage and privacy
- The location data is stored together with the event record in your organization’s DSLS portal.
- The data does not include your personal identity such as name, phone number, or email unless you have added it manually.
- The location is used only for operational response and history review.
- Devosec does not sell, rent, or share location data with any third parties.
Your control
- You can disable location access in your device settings, but alarm features depending on it may stop working.
- The Devosec public website (www.devosec.no) does not access or collect location data.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Operate and maintain the DSLS App and website
- Display alarm events and locations for authorized users
- Improve and develop our products and services
- Communicate with you for support or updates
- Ensure security and prevent misuse or fraud

These may include IP address, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and the number of clicks.
